What We Offer

Our Breathwork Facilitator Training is at the core, a hybrid journey of six live online sessions and a ten-day in-person immersion.
It’s more than training. It’s a rite of passage.

Our Story

MindDate wasn’t born from one training or method.
It came from years of searching and realizing how much was missing.

Nic had been practicing breathwork long before this. She explored different styles, trained across disciplines, and became a yoga teacher steeped in pranayama and nervous system education. Tobias joined the path later, first through the breath, then through music, layering soundscapes for healing and emotional release.

Together, we dove into countless courses, workshops, and certifications.
Each time, we found ourselves asking:

Why does this feel incomplete?
Why are safety and trauma protocols so often overlooked?
Why are people using scientific language they don’t fully understand, or sharing information that simply isn’t true?

Most programs gave us some of what we were looking for. But none gave us all.
We had to piece together the truth ourselves, not only from books and certifications, but through direct experience, trial, and observation.

We spent years experimenting, failing, integrating.
Studying trauma, breath patterns, voice, presence, physiology.
Running classes that sometimes exceeded expectations, and sometimes didn’t, without fully understanding why.
Learning not just what to teach, but how to show up.

We recorded our own journeys.
Practiced public speaking and slowly began integrating it into our work.
Layered music late at night and tested how it moved the breath.
We asked: What makes a session truly safe? What makes a class unforgettable?

This wasn’t built in a month.
It was shaped over time, through thousands of hours of unseen practice, deep study, and honest reflection.
And we’re still refining it, with every training, every student, every breakthrough.
Tweaking, improving, evolving. It's almost an obsession at this point.

What we teach now isn’t just knowledge.
It’s everything we had to teach ourselves, and everything we’ve learned from the people we’ve guided and taught, through their perspective, their process, their truth.
Because no one else was offering it.

No single training showed us how deep trauma actually lives in the body.
Or how music affects brainwaves, emotion, and breath patterns.
No one taught us how to speak to a group while tracking safety.
Or how to blend coaching, presence, and technique into one cohesive space.

We had to learn how to build a class, not just one format, but many.
We dug into the vast, often overlooked history of breathwork.
We studied conscious communication, business integrity, and what it means to hold people, not just in practice, but in process.

We created MindDate because we saw a need for something deeper.
Something more creative. More honest. More safe.

We don’t believe in rigid methods or one-size-fits-all trainings.
We believe in giving you the full spectrum and helping you carve your own way through it.

Because no single technique can replace your own presence.
No certificate can give you the safety you haven’t yet embodied.

We’re here to awaken facilitators who lead from truth,
embody safety & radiate transformation.

We don’t teach a single style or script.
We offer the tools from scientific, somatic, emotional, musical
and then guide you in building something that is entirely your own.
Inside, we explore:

Breath science & CO₂ intelligence
Nervous system regulation, oxygen efficiency, vagus nerve tone

Trauma literacy & safety
Judith Herman’s 3-phase model, polyvagal awareness, real-space holding & much more

Session design & formats
Gentle, rhythmic, holotropic, and performance-based, and how to create your own arc

Music & sound theory
BPM, brainwaves, live layering, sound healing instruments

Authentic language & communication
Somatic cueing, voice use, holding field, group dynamics

Facilitator confidence & soulful business
Pricing, presence, boundaries, growth rooted in service

Ceremony & creativity
Cacao, movement, oils, altar building, ritual design

And most importantly, how to create in a way that’s true to you.

MindDate is more than meets the eye…
It isn’t a method. It’s a space where you remember your own.
We don’t train you to follow our steps, we guide you to discover your voice.
Because the world doesn’t need more carbon-copy coaches.
It needs humans who lead from soul.

This work is about depth, not dogma.
It’s about becoming so embodied in your own healing that
guiding others becomes a natural expression of who you are.

‘‘We train the next generation of breathwork guides through music, science, coaching, and soul.’’

The Team

Tobias Malm

Tobias Malm is a self-taught music producer and certified performance breathwork facilitator.

He didn’t enter this work through the wellness world. He came to it through sound, through his own healing, and through the quiet pull toward something deeper.

For years, music was Tobias’s way of processing life. He spent countless hours layering sounds, chasing emotion through melody, and exploring how rhythm can shift a person's state of mind. When he first experienced breathwork, something clicked. The emotional release he had always searched for in music was suddenly amplified. Breath made the invisible visible.

Tobias began studying breath, the nervous system, and performance-based resilience training. He also started to notice how many breathwork spaces lacked the depth, clarity, and safety people deserved. A lot of what was being taught didn’t align with what he had felt in his own body. So he kept learning. He started crafting sessions based on real presence, real feeling, and real music.

Today, Tobias combines his original music with breathwork to create immersive experiences that help people feel more, release more, and reconnect with themselves. His sessions are raw, emotional, and intentionally unscripted. He doesn’t perform. He listens. He responds. He builds a space where people can drop into something real.

This work is not about being impressive. It’s about being honest. And that’s the energy Tobias brings to every space he enters.

Nic Jordan

Nic Jordan is a certified: yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, meditation guide, and life coach.

She has spent the past 15 years supporting people through transformation, holding space for both quiet moments and big shifts. Her path has never been about choosing one method. It’s been about listening. To the nervous system. To the emotional body. To the unspoken truth in the room.

Nic's journey into this work began through her own healing. Breathwork came first as a personal tool, then evolved into a professional calling. Alongside that, she explored coaching, somatic awareness, pranayama, and the art of guiding people gently back to themselves. Over time, she realized that no single title could capture what she really does. Her strength lies in weaving it all together.

Whether she is guiding a group through deep emotional release, mentoring facilitators, or simply sitting in stillness with someone, Nic leads with honesty and attunement. She knows how to hold complexity without rushing the process. Her approach is trauma-informed, intuitive, and rooted in both lived experience and deep study.

Nic is happiest when she gets to blend all parts of her work into one experience. She believes healing isn’t linear, and that the best teachers are always learning too.

Filip Wennesjö

Filip is a certified mental trainer, coach, and co-facilitator inside the MindDate training.

With more than ten years of experience in mindset work, he has supported athletes, students, creatives, and entrepreneurs in finding clarity, focus, and emotional steadiness. His journey began not through textbooks, but through personal experience. After struggling with overthinking and inner pressure, Filip began exploring what it truly means to lead yourself with presence.

He joined MindDate as a student in May 2024. The depth of the training challenged him, opened him, and gave him tools he had been seeking for years. In February 2025, he stepped into the role of co-facilitator at our Portugal training. Since then, he has become an essential part of the space.

Filip now supports participants not only by teaching Mental Mastery, but by walking alongside them throughout their process. He brings calm, grounded presence to the group, holds space with quiet strength, and offers personal guidance from someone who has lived the same journey. His ability to meet people in discomfort without rushing them makes him a powerful presence in the room.

What Filip brings to MindDate is more than mindset. He brings trust, reflection, and the reminder that showing up for yourself is the beginning of all real change.
